Comfort and Joy

Comfort and Joy.  I can’t think of any two words that embody baby wearing more.  The joy of being close to our babies and the comfort they feel.  The joy at being part of a larger community and the comfort of knowing that you are not alone — we are your support group.  Comfort and Joy.  In that spirit, we’ve decided to embody the Comfort and Joy of babywearing and offer these semi-customizable ornaments:

You can choose the color of hair, people, and to a lesser extent the wrap color for an additional customizing fee of $1 to $2 or choose one that is already made for $10.  These are currently available in our discussion group.

We are always looking for FUNdraisers — activities where we create a product to sell or an activity that allows us to raise money.  We are always raising money, that is just the nature of not-for-profit baby wearing.

We are hoping that these handmade ornaments will memorialize a season of your lives that will be over far too quickly and bring you Comfort and Joy.  Comfort and Joy not only when you look at it, but Comfort and Joy in the knowledge that this gesture is helping build a better baby wearing community here in Austin, TX.
