International Babywearing Week starts in FOUR days, FOUR! We can not contain our excitement around here.
I know… we are too!!

We hope to see you at ALL our events this year! I am particularly excited for our events on Sunday (kick off party at San Marcos Outlets), Monday (our North Austin Meeting), Wednesday (Hike at Walnut Creek), and Saturday (Our HUGE Babywearing Carnival at Babyearth)! We will also have digital events all week and a scavenger hunt! I hope everyone will participate!

Next, I wanted to chat a bit about our raffle. First, my soapbox, please.
We are an organization made up entirely of volunteers. No one gets paid to do this. Every cent we FUNdraise goes towards our operating costs (website hosting, printing, and office supplies) and to new carriers for you to try. Did you know that through efforts made by our volunteers and your generosity and contribution through these fundraisers, our lending library is approaching nearly 350 carriers? Well, it is.
I hope this inspires you to contribute to our raffle fundraiser in a big way! Starting next week, tickets will be available online and you do not need to be present to win. BUT… you should come out for the carnival on October 10 (after which the drawing will happen), because it’s going to be AWESOME!

25 Tickets: $20
65 Tickets: $50
100 Tickets: $75
140 Tickets: $100
Traditionally, this has been our biggest FUNdraiser of the year and we are hoping to have another successful week. If you want to look at pictures from IBW from previous years, you can see, that we are FUN people, having FUN, and FUNdraising. (See what I did there).
