Pregnant Babywearing
Pregnant Belly Wrapping
Wrapping your baby bump in late pregnancy has many benefits from supporting your growing belly, relieving pain and discomfort on your hips and back, and can even help “break in” your new ring sling or wrap! You can wrap your belly using a woven wrap, stretchy wrap, or a ring sling. We do recommend you speak with your health care provider before wrapping your belly.

Pregnant Babywearing
Sometimes caring for multiple children may mean you need to babywear while pregnant. While it can be completely safe and somewhat comfortable, we do recommend you speak with your health care provider before wearing a child while pregnant. Most carriers are able to be worn either above, below, or to the side of a belly bump, although some may be more comfortable than others. And remember, listen to your body!

Tandem Wearing
Tandem wearing refers to babywearing two children at the same time. This can be done in a variety of ways (two infants on front, two children on hip, or one child on front and one on back) with a number of different carrier types. The carriers do not have to be the same type either. This carry takes a bit of practice to be sure your body is able to carry the additional weight of another child.
