Well, our biggest FUNdraiser of the year is happening in just a few days. There has been TONS of hard work done on this event and it promises to be the BEST yet! We welcome ALL babywearers to our bash, their families, friends, and babies. It promises to be a great time had by all. So, this week, I’ve gathered some #protips to help you make the best of our Birthday Bash and Community Expo!

Come Early.
The early toddler might get my scorn for humanity at 5:30 am, but the early babywearer gets… THE DOOR PRIZES!!!

Spoiled Rotten. It’s hard to find another way to describe the fact that we will have incredible professional photographers at our event to take your family’s pictures. One of my all time favorites was taken at this event… two years ago. Grab the attention of one of our photogs, you won’t regret it!
Bring the older kids
But note that your older child may think that ALL babywearing meetings are this fun and will be disappointed with regular meetings… but REALLY EXCITED for the “fun meeting!” Seriously, this is one of my six year-old’s favorite events of the year. Bring the big kids! Each of our community expo tables will have an event for them. They collect “stamps” and get a prize at the end! (Spoiler Alert) I know one of our community partners is having oragami at her table, my kiddo is super looking forward to that! So bring big kids, let them do the activities, buy raffle tickets, have some snacks, and win some prizes!
Speaking of Snacks… come hungry for snacks, but not starving for food!
We aren’t doing full on meals, but will have snacks available. Like all great birthday parties, there will definitely be CAKE!! My plan is to come early, grab a friend for lunch, then come back for the raffle.
We’re going to need a bigger table this year!
