Registration Options (IN PERSON)
Deadline: before June 15. June 16 and after, we will ask you to register on-site, which will only be possible if space is available.
We are holding the Southern Regional Leaders Retreat to find ways to make our work more powerful and integrated what so many others are doing — to network and share both needs and resources. If you are doing work to support individuals’ and families’ freedom to live and thrive, we want you to be able to join us, even if you cannot pay.
We estimate the cost for holding the conference to be $153 per person, for food, compensating speakers and facilitators, AV equipment and supplies. While we are actively seeking funding for conference expenses, if you or your organization can cover your own costs, we would so appreciate that. If you can help pay for others, we hope you will, with a feeling confidence in your sharing valuable resources that you are fortunate to have access to. If neither of those is true, we appreciate any amount you can give, trusting you to be as generous as you can be without causing yourself hardship. We welcome you all.
Organization / Full individual registration — $150+
Please pay $150 or more if your company or organization is paying for your registration or if you can offset your full costs and beyond. Thank you!
Contributor — $15 to $150
Please register at this level if you can you offset some of your own costs for the retreat, which includes food during the retreat and networking events, technology, and opportunities to learn more about work taking place in our communities and collaboration opportunities.
Community builder / investor — $0
This level is subsidized for activists, advocates, and others who cannot afford registration fees in addition to costs to attend in person, especially if they are multiply marginalized by our culture’s current structures and invested in shared liberation.
Digital Registration Options (included as part of in-person registrations)
As part of our commitment to accessibility, we are also offering registrations for those who cannot attend the retreat in person. We estimate the shared cost for attending this way to be $50, and as with our in-person registration fees, we welcome all who are working to better our communities regardless of your ability to pay. We encourage you to attend in person if you can, because our teleconferencing setup (Zoom) will convey only the single-track sessions (presentations and panels, but not networking and breakout sessions).
Digital — $50
This registration allows one person the ability to access the streaming feed and recorded sessions depending on the preferences of those being recorded. If you intend to watch the retreat with another person, we ask that they please also register, even if they cannot pay.This is vital to our obtaining an accurate understanding of who is joining us and affects our ability to get funding for another event!
Sliding scale digital — $0 to $49
Please consider that we are renting audiovisual equipment and paying for teleconference software to make digital attendance possible, in addition to compensating our speakers and facilitators, and give as generously as you can without causing yourself financial hardship.
