My name is Katie Dalton and I started babywearing in 2007 with the birth of my son. Back then, I learned and found support via online forums like TBW. In 2009, 2011, and 2014 our three daughters joined our family and I continued to grow in my babywearing journey after finding my first BWI chapter. Volunteering was something I had long contemplated and in 2014 I made the commitment to begin the process of becoming a VBE. As an Army spouse, wearing my babies has been a way of life and I enjoy helping others discover all the benefits for themselves and the children they care for. I’ve enjoyed using all varieties of carriers depending on what stage my children are in.
In addition to babywearing, I attended college for Psychology and I’ve been a professional seamstress since 2008. I also enjoy travel, gardening, homeschooling my children, and crafts of all kinds.
